Level 1 is the starting point for all CrossFit West Visalia athletes. This is a group introductory class designed to prepare you for Level 2. This class will introduce the athlete to the basic CrossFit movements which will be used in our workouts. This also provides you the opportunity to learn and develop a base-level of fitness before joining Level 2.
The Coach will lead the group through the following typical class schedule:
Mobility drills to improve and restore joint mobility and function
Skill-based warm-up to prepare the body and mind for the workout of the day

Post-workout recovery techniques
Each workout is universally scalable. For the needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind! Everyone's personal fitness level will be taken into account prior to starting the class to ensure the appropriate scaling is provided.
*The level 1 and Level 2 athletes are working out together! This creates a great motivating environment and allows people of all abilities to do CrossFit together. During our skill work the Level 1 and levels 2 athletes split up into two groups. During that time the Coach will scale the athletes as needed and then teach the skill that applies to their level. Once the skill is over the two levels combine to complete the WOD!
